Can I convert my civil partnership to a marriage?

Yes you can.

Can we change our name after a Civil Partnership?

Yes, your civil partnership schedule can be used for this.

Do I have to have a ceremony?

No, there is no legal requirement to have a ceremony

Do I need two witnesses?

Yes two witnesses will be required to witness you both signing the Civil Partnership schedule.

Do we get a civil partnership certificate?

Yes but this will be posted to you the following working day.  However, there is the option to have a commemorative certificate presented to you at a ceremony. 

How much is a civil partnership?

Ceremony fees depend on the day, date and venue of the ceremony.
